Bobbie L. Runsick, 59, of Newport passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, in Batesville, AR.  She was born on June 9, 1965, to William A “Dub” and Carole L. (Tims) Runsick.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents; John Floy and Lois Runsick, and Albert and Asellee Tims.

Bobbie, a woman of the Church of Christ belief, embraced life with joy and laughter. She found immense pleasure in fishing and camping, always eager to be in nature. Known for her playful spirit, she loved being a jokester, spreading smiles wherever she went. Florida held a special place in her heart, and she cherished her trips to the beach, where she could relax and enjoy the beauty of the ocean. Bobbie’s lively and fun-loving nature will be fondly remembered by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Dugger of Cave City, and two brothers, John. Runsick (Jenneal) of Cord and Bill A. Runsick (Diane) of Batesville; two sisters, Teresa Green (Roger) of Newport, Suzann Williams (Landon) of Newport. Her nieces and nephews, Eran Strickland (Kyle) of Richmond, Texas, Alison Tubbs (Jason) of Tuckerman, Adam Childers (Jill) of Newport, Brad Runsick (Amber) of Mountain Home, Jill Coles (Anthony) of Rosie, Seth Runsick of Cave City and thirteen great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at Gracelawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel.
