Insley Marie Vinson, 22, of Pleasant Plains, AR, entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, July 5, 2024. Insley was born on June 15, 2002, in Batesville, AR. She was of Christian faith and worshiped the Lord as a member at Pleasant Plains First Assembly of God. She enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for her family and friends, and spending time at the creek, whether it was swimming, fishing, or even frog gigging. Insley, or “Bird Dog” as she affectionately became known, was the life of the party and she was also a shoulder to cry on. She loved spending time with her friends, especially her boyfriend, Dalton Whinningham. She was always there to listen to anyone who had a problem, and she was always a source of love and light that could raise any dampened spirit. Above all else, Insley loved her family. She was a loving mother; Oakley Maye Vinson was her pride and joy, and nothing was more important to her than her precious Oakley. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. She will be dearly missed and forever loved by everyone who was blessed to know her.

Insley is preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Donna Smith; her grandfather, Bill Vinson; her great-grandparents, Ed and Vee Wilson; and her aunt Misty Qualls. She is survived by her “Momma”, Nickie Vinson-Elms, and her “Daddy” Scott Elms; her birth father, Jaret Holland; her grandparents, John and Melissa Richards, Bill and Laura Yates, and her grandfather, E.J. Elms; her great-grandparents, Wayne and Nadine Stewart; her beloved daughter, Oakley Maye Vinson; her brothers and sisters, Taylor Hall (Jason), Kenneth Elms, Jake Holland, and Addie Holland; those that she claimed as brothers and sisters, Tiffany Bailey, Shawna Bailey, Levi McDougal, Summer Casey, Stormy Casey, and Autumn Casey; her aunts, Haley McDougal (Justin), Reta Cagle, Melissa Goad, and Shelia Fredricks; her uncle Gary Vinson (Jana); her great aunts, Deshawn Wyatt (Lance) and Deborah Frazier (Lanny); numerous cousins, extended family members, and too many friends to count!

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a visitation on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Ched Carpenter will be at Pleasant Plains First Assembly of God in Pleasant Plains, AR, on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Pleasant Plains Cemetery.
