White River Health (WRH) has added Steven Webb as its new chief operating officer (COO).

The health organization said in a media release that Webb (pictured) will oversee operational functions across all clinics, aiming to maintain service quality and patient satisfaction.

His responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing metrics to increase efficiency across WRH. The release said Webb will also utilize effective resource allocation to ensure WRH’s financial sustainability and growth.

“I am excited to join WRH’s high-performing team,” Webb said in the release. “I am honored to serve the community’s healthcare needs and support WRH’s mission of creating healthier communities through better healthcare.”

Gary Paxson, president and CEO of WRH, welcomed Webb, citing his healthcare leadership background and commitment to service.

“We are honored to welcome Mr. Webb to the WRH executive team. His background in healthcare leadership and passion for serving aligns well with the culture and trajectory of our organization,” Paxson said. “Mr. Webb’s valuable skill set contributes to the effort of ensuring WRH continues to provide excellent patient care to our communities for years to come.”

Webb holds a bachelor of business administration from East Texas Baptist University and a master of health service administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and a member of the Arkansas Health Executive Forum.

Webb is married to his wife, Elizabeth, and has four children: Peyton, Paige, Presley, and Piper.
