Surrounded by family, Betty Ann Carter of Batesville, Arkansas entered the presence of the Lord and Savior on July 10, 2024. She fought a long but brave battle with cancer for many years and now has her complete healing in Heaven.

She was born on May 31, 1947, to the most loving of parents, BP “Buddy” Carter and Earnestine (Palmer) Carter of Batesville. She met Roland Carter on a Sunday Night at Tommy’s King Burger and they were soon married and had one daughter.

Betty was of the Church of God faith. She enjoyed spending time gardening, working in her flowers and could be found most any night painting or sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roland Carter.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Woods; two grandsons, Colten Woods (Ashley) and Jagger Woods both of Batesville; one brother, Paul Don Carter (Dianne) of Cave City; one sister, Mary Jane Mize (Max) of Calamine and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Majors officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave Creek Cemetery in Batesville.

Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Monday, July 15, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to an account at First Community Bank at Cave City Mary Jane Carter.

Pallbearers will be Brad Carter, Brandon Carter, Arlen Carter, Ralph Purvis, Colten Woods and Jagger Woods.

Honorary pallbearers are Kirk Ratliff, Doug Smith, Max Mize, Paul Carter, Riley Caraway, Scotty Harris and Korbin Ratliff.
