Judy Linda (Neldon) Loftin of Searcy, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, July 12, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born September 14, 1948, in Newport, Arkansas, the daughter of Joe D. and Lina Mae (Beard) Neldon.
Ms. Loftin was a graduate of Newport High School. She managed several restaurants over the years. She had also worked on film sets at Old Tucson Studio, including Young Guns 2 and Tombstone. She enjoyed crafting, beadwork, painting, and reading. She loved watching movies with her granddaughter. Ms. Loftin loved to cook and was known for her chess cake that she would make at Christmas.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Christopher Scott Loftin and Jeffery Eugene Loftin; and her parents.
Ms. Loftin is survived by three grandchildren, Ashley Mae Katherine Loftin Murray and husband, James, of Boston, Massachusetts, Zachary Tyler Dane Loftin of Newport, and Shelby Jade Thomas of Tyronza; three great-grandchildren, Drake, Lelanie, and Avigail; her beloved dog, Cherry; other family members; and a lifetime of friends.
Memorials can be made to the White County Humane Society.
Private services will be held for family and close friends.
