Jerry Ann Corline (Burnham) Johnson, 89, of Batesville, AR, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Jerry was born on September 10, 1934, in Willow Springs, MO, to the late Virgil John Burnham and Mable (Jones) Burnham. She was of Christian faith and served the Lord as a member of Corner Stone Baptist Church in Melbourne, AR. Jerry was a woman of strong faith. She loved God and loved going to church to worship. Jerry was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She enjoyed hosting family dinners and cooking for everyone. Jerry loved her family dearly, especially her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by those who were blessed to know her.
Jerry is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Freeman Gene Johnson; her son, Ronald Dale Johnson; and 8 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Myra Jean Collins (Greg); her 3 sons, David Johnson (BJ), Clarence Johnson (Olga), and Roger Johnson; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville. There will be a graveside service, officiated by Bro. John Higgins, at Kyler Cemetery in Southside on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 2 PM. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Austin Johnson, Seth Johnson, and Cody Johnson. The family would like to recognize the following people as honorary pallbearers. Ben Johnson, Jamie Johnson, Dallas Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Travis Johnson, and Brant Cochran.
