William Henry Kiser, 77, of Newport passed from this life on July 20, 2024. He was born February 26, 1947, to William Charles Kiser and Opal Sara (Huffins) Howard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his ex-wife Joan Kiser Smith; his brother-in-law Eugene Phillips; and his nephews, John Phillips and Fred Phillips.
He is survived by his son, Shawn Kiser of Batesville; his daughters, Rachel Faulkner (Jeremy) of Newport and Donna Bailey (Oneil) of Florida; his sister, Beatrice Howard of Newport; his ex-son-in-law Richard Tumey of Newport; his close friend, Juile Chabrison of Newport; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other friends.
William enjoyed a life full of simple pleasures and cherished moments. He loved fishing and hunting, often spending time outdoors surrounded by nature. Sitting in the yard and relaxing brought him peace, especially when accompanied by his family and friends. He also enjoyed watching TV and listening to country music, filling his days with the things and the people he loved. William’s joy in the little things and his warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
