Joe T. Rainbolt, 86, of Pleasant Plains passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at his home. He was born on December 9, 1937, in Alco, Arkansas to Daniel Rainbolt and Ludie Passmore Rainbolt. He was retired from Townsends and also had owned and operated his own trucking business for many years and was a Baptist.

He enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball, hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandsons and in his later years, enjoyed spending time with his great-granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Norma Rainbolt; a son, Randy Rainbolt and one brother, Jim Rainbolt.

Survivors include a daughter, Pam Hays (Joey) of Pleasant Plains; a brother, Dan Jr. Rainbolt (Mary) of Mountain Home; two grandchildren, Matt Hays (Erin Beth) and Ben Hays (Mandy) both of Pleasant Plains; five great-granddaughters, Piper Hays, Tenley Hays, Lydia Hays, Nora Hays and Layla Hays all of Pleasant Plains; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Dale Crumley officiating.

At the request of the family, there will be no graveside services.

Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Joey Hays, Ben Hays, Matt Hays, Buddy Levitt, Gary Jeffery, Billy Jack Lankford and Charlie Smith.
