Maxine Trammell, 76, of Mountain View passed away July 27, 2024. She was born August 27, 1947, in Fifty Six, Arkansas to Alvin and Lucy (Gosser) Pitts. Maxine loved the Lord and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a loving Nanny, wife, mother, sister, and aunt.
She enjoyed tending to her flowers, gardening, canning the fruits of her labor, and spoiling her grandkids. Maxine was an avid Razorback fan and supported her grandchildren in anything they were involved in. During Christmas, if you drove out West 66, you couldn’t miss her Christmas lights. However, she liked putting them up much more than she did taking them down.

Maxine is survived by her spouse, JE Trammell; son, Tony Trammel (Theresa); stepson, James Trammell (Loretta); stepdaughter Shannon Trammell Bracket; grandchildren; Kadie Branscum, Renea Morgan, Christopher Callahan, Laken Powell, Kim Gilbert, Cody Brackett, Brandon Trammell, Grace Trammell, James Ewing Trammell; sister, Irene Willming; brothers, Roy Dean Pitts and Ronnie Pitts; and 25 great-grandchildren. Along with a host of family and friends.
