Randall Lynn Long, 67 of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life July 29, 2024, at his home in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Randall was born February 15, 1957, at Verser’s Clinic Harrisburg, Arkansas, the son of John D. and Maxine (Ford) Long. Randall and Doris married on August 30, 1973, and have enjoyed fifty years together.
He worked as a truck driver for Poinsett Turfgrass. Randall graduated from Harrisburg High School and enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Long, and one sister, Carolyn (Long) McMullin.
He is survived by his mother, Maxine (Ford) Long, his wife, Doris (Balentine) Long, two brothers: Perry L. Long and Joe M. Long, and one sister, Johnetta Privett, and a very special ‶shop buddy″ Jerry Whitsett.
Visitation will be at Jackson’s Funeral Home, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, starting 12:00 until Service Time.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Kenny Guy McMahan conducting the service. The interment will be in Holly Springs Cemetery.
These men will be honored to serve as Active Pallbearers: Jerry Whitsett, Shannon Kelley, Jason Mathis, Mike Morgan, Kevin Privett, and David Owens. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Gann, Barry Deckelman, Buddy Secrease and Employees of Poinsett Turfgrass.
