Charles Scudder, 76, of Campbell Station departed this life on July 30, 2024. He was born September 6, 1947, in Newport to Theodore Fred and Ruby (Moss) Scudder.
Charles enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed shooting guns with his son and grandson. He liked feeding the birds and squirrels and took pleasure in rebuilding vehicles. He loved his Dr. Peppers and drank them daily. Charles was married to the love of his life, Nancy, for 58 years. He drove a truck for a living, supporting his family through his hard work and dedication. Above all, Charles loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. His legacy of love, dedication, and enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures will be remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Bobby Scudder, Billie Ray Scudder and an infant brother; and his grandson, Chase Scudder.
He is survived by his wife, of the home, Nancy; his son, Craig Scudder (Angela) of Campbell Station; his daughter, Kelly Scudder Reed (John) of Campbell Station; his grandchildren, Sky Reed Keller (Lane) and Liam Scudder; his great-grandchildren, CJ Keller, and Atlas Keller; and his special friends, Don Green and Buddy Altom.
There will be a private family burial.
