Jane (Gamble) Marshall of Campbell Station, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the age of 85. Mrs. Marshall was born June 24, 1939, in Campbell Station, the only child of Harry E. and Marjorie (Kennedy) Gamble.
After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, she worked as a public school teacher for many years in schools across Arkansas, Missouri, and Indiana. After retiring from her career in education, Mrs. Marshall joined the family-owned and operated Taylor Made Ambulance Company in Newport.
She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family, and absolutely loved her cat.
Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Marjorie Gamble.
She is survived by her husband, James K. Marshall of Newport; two sons, Joseph M. Taylor, IV and wife, Stanita of Newport, and James E. Taylor and wife, Christel of Newport; five grandchildren, Brent Taylor, Hope Taylor, Shelby Taylor, Madden Mae Taylor, and Emma Jo Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Scott Bradford and Parker Jane Crossfield; her sister-in-law, Janie Black of Newport; and a lifetime of friends.
Services will be held at a later date.
