First Community Bank has announced the promotion of two team members at the financial institution’s Cave City branch.

Cassie Bradley (pictured above, left) has been promoted to assistant vice president, branch manager/head teller. Bradley, who joined the First Community Bank team in 2010 as a floating teller, became a full-time team member in Cave City in 2011. She was promoted to head teller in 2019 and now takes on the additional role of branch manager. Bradley, a Cave City High School graduate of 1996, brings 14 years of banking experience to her new role. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Bradley has a 27-year-old son who is married with a one-year-old son. She also has a 22-year-old daughter.

“I’m very grateful for the opportunity to serve as branch manager,” said Bradley. “With many goals in mind, one I will strive to achieve through my leadership is to get our branch more involved with our community to bring in new customers.”

Tara Barnett has been promoted to assistant vice president, loan officer, and assistant branch manager. Barnett joined First Community Bank in 2014 as a teller, advanced to loan assistant/new accounts in 2017, and became a loan officer in 2023.

“I am thankful to First Community Bank for entrusting me with this opportunity. I aim to provide customers with methods to improve their lives financially and to build stronger community relationships,” said Barnett.

Barnett (right), a 2005 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, has ten years of banking experience. She enjoys working with her church, Cave City First Assembly of God, where she is part of the praise and worship team and serves as a youth sponsor. She has been married for 18 years and has two sons, ages 16 and 11. In her free time, she enjoys planting flowers and working cattle on her farm and her parents’ farm.

Boris Dover, president and chief operating officer for First Community Bank, expressed his confidence in both Bradley and Barnett.

“Cassie and Tara have both shown exceptional dedication and leadership throughout their tenure at First Community Bank,” said Dover. “Their commitment to community involvement and customer service will undoubtedly drive our branch to new heights. I look forward to seeing their continued contributions and successes.”

The Cave City branch of First Community Bank is located at 102 S. Main St.
