Nina Jean Richey, 90, of Strawberry, Arkansas passed away on August 10, 2024, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. She was born January 13, 1934, in Strawberry to Floyd and Donah Kay.
She was a housewife and a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, grandchildren, and friends.
Nina is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Donah (Bertie) Kay; her sister, Ella Mae Oliver; her husband, W.C. Richey; one grandson, Eric Watkins; and a daughter-in-law, Dianne Richey.
Nina is survived by three sons, Donald Richey and Randy Richey (Renee) of Strawberry, and Ron Richey of Ash Flat; two grandchildren, Justin Richey (Shawna) and Kelsey Polston (Lucas); three great-grandchildren, Westen Richey, Rhett Polston, and Carter Rae Richey, and a host of other relatives and friends.
While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.
Graveside services will be on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lancaster Cemetery in Strawberry with Curt Howard officiating.
