
Ozark Gateway has named Karin Huffman as its new travel writer.
The organization said in a media release that Huffman (pictured), a Batesville native, brings extensive knowledge of the region and a passion for its natural beauty to the position.
“Her outdoor pursuits, including hiking and kayaking, align perfectly with the publication’s focus on exploring the region’s natural wonders. With a deep connection to the community, Huffman is eager to share her love for north central Arkansas with Ozark Gateway readers,” the release said.
“I am excited to join the Ozark Gateway team,” said Huffman. “I look forward to showcasing the beauty and charm of our area to both residents and visitors.”
Huffman’s expertise and enthusiasm will enhance the publication’s content and inspire readers to discover the region’s hidden gems, Ozark Gateway said in the release.
Ozark Gateway covers the history, heritage, events, and attractions of eight counties in the region: Fulton, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Lawrence, Randolph, Sharp, and Stone. Each county has its own history, heritage, events, and attractions.
