Two highway accidents are affecting morning traffic in the region.
In Jackson County, a fuel truck has run off the road west of Amagon and is leaking fuel near the Cache River.
According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation, the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. on State Highway 14.
An ARDOT spokesperson told Jonesboro television outlet KAIT that the fuel truck, which was traveling west, was in a ditch near the river and was leaking. The right shoulder of the highway is currently closed.
ARDOT is reporting another accident has occurred at Exit 54, just northeast of Bald Knob on Highway 67. The accident has affected northbound lanes and traffic is being diverted at the exit. According to IDriveArkansas.com, the accident also occurred around 8:30 a.m.
