Fall semester classes are scheduled to begin Monday, and the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB) is helping students get ready.

On Friday, new and returning UACCB students can visit the campus for an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event is designed for students to locate their classes, connect with campus resources, and even win prizes.

“This event is really designed to connect our students with the campus and to make sure they have everything in place for a successful first day of classes,” said Meagan Akins, UACCB’s dean of enrollment services.

Akins visited the White River Now studios to talk with Chad Whiteaker about Friday’s open house and class registration.
