Randy Dean Osborne, 55, of Batesville, died on Thursday, August 15, 2024, in Jonesboro. He was born on March 8, 1969, in Batesville, Arkansas to Jerry Osborne and Shiria (Gould) Osborne.
Randy was a member of the Ruddell Hill Baptist Church, a 1987 graduate of Batesville High School, where he played baseball and football. He attended Williams Baptist College, worked at ConAgra Foods, Bad Boy Mowers, and enjoyed watching his favorite teams the Atlanta Braves and the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Randy was witty, passionate about music, liked playing his guitar, playing horseshoes, bowling, and loved to cook. He was also passionate about his cats and Gunnar and McKeni’s dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Renae (Slayden) Osborne, two sons, Gunnar Osborne (McKeni) and Walker Osborne both of Batesville; his father, Jerry Osborne of Batesville; a brother, Mickey Osborne of Little Rock; a sister, Amanda Whiteaker (Chad) of Batesville; two grandchildren, Raegan and Carter Osborne; a niece, Ally Whiteaker and a nephew, Nick Whiteaker, and many other relatives and friends.
Randy is preceded in death by his mother, Shiria Gould Osborne, and nephews, Zack and Colton Osborne.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 19, at 2 p.m., at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel, with Tyler Bramlett officiating. Burial will follow the service at Egner Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., prior to the service.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Blake Wycough, Ronnie Ruminer, David Vaughn, Scotty Johnson, Brian Gould, and Kris Gould.
