Obituary: Tommy Leon “Tombo” McMaster Jr.

Mr. Tommy Leon McMaster, Jr (Tombo), 41, of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life Tuesday, August 13, 2024. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee May 23, 1983 the son of Tommy McMaster Sr. and Joyce Ann (Crawford) McMaster Palmer. Tommy was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Joyce Palmer and brother, Harvey (Jabo) Hamby Jr. and several Uncles. He was of the Baptist faith. Tombo enjoyed spending time with family and friends, always asking when the next cook-out or family gathering would be. Tombo spent a great amount of time at the local auctions, always on the lookout for the next ‶good deal″. He also enjoyed time spent sitting with Buddy Vernon at the Exxon Station. He was always up for telling the latest joke he had heard or sharing stories of his beloved mother and brother, he so dearly missed! He enjoyed playing video games, watching football and calling everyone in his phone contact list, at least, twice per day. He was well known for pestering those he loved. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Angel, and sharing all of his words of wisdom with her ~ while pestering her! He was so very proud Angel (Turd)! He will surely be missed. Tombo is survived by his wife, Mickie (Johnson) McMaster, one daughter, Angel Leeann McMaster, father, Tommy Leon McMaster Sr., step-father, Kenneth Palmer, step-brother, Luke Thomas, 4 Sisters: Jennifer (Hamby) and husband Marc Allen, Rose (McMaster) and husband Roy Sims all of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Crystal (McMaster) and husband Theo Melton Jr., of Parkin, Arkansas, and Reba McMaster and fiancé, John Hendrix of Weiner, Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews, Aunt Mary (Crawford) McMaster and husband David of Harrisburg, Uncle Jerry McMaster and wife Peg of Cortland, Illinois, Uncle Dan McMaster and wife Carol of Springfield, Mo., as well as countless family members and friends of all over. Visitation will be Friday, August 16, 2024 at Jackson’s Funeral Home chapel from 6:00 ~ 8:00 P. M. and Funeral Service will be Saturday August 17, 2024 at 2:00 P. M. with Bro. Rick Jensen and Nakesha Penden will conduct the service. These men will serve as active pallbearers: Anthony King, Hugh Crocker, John Crocker, Wayne Batchelar, Jessie Lucas, and Wendell Hart. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Bauxter, Roy Sims, Paul (Buddy Boy) Jarvis, Heston O’brien, Kevin (Hawk) Hawkins. Interment will be in Bolivar Cemetery. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
