Four students graduated from Ozarka College’s surgical technology program during an Aug. 5 pinning ceremony in the lecture hall of the Ozarka College Mountain View campus.

Rhonda Cooper, Kyleigh Glass, Haylee King, and Bailey Miehe were recognized for completing the program, which provides classroom, laboratory, and clinical training to prepare students for entry-level surgical technology positions.

Katie Wilson, chair of Ozarka’s allied health division, expressed pride in the graduates.

“We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our surgical technology graduates,” she said. “Their dedication, skill, and resilience have prepared them to excel in the operating room and beyond. As they step into their critical roles within the healthcare team, we are confident that they will make a profound difference in the lives of many.”

The ceremony included remarks from Ozarka Surgical Technology Director Felicia Sisk and Ozarka College Provost Dr. Chris Lorch, who offered encouragement and advice to the graduates. Class president Haylee King also addressed the attendees.
