A candlelight vigil will be held Wednesday in Clinton to mark the second anniversary of the disappearance of Chelsea Woods.

Woods (pictured below), 38, has been missing since Aug. 28, 2022.

The vigil will be held at the Botkinburg Foursquare Church, 7054 Highway 65 North, in Clinton. It will begin at 7 p.m.

According to a Fox 16 news report in October of 2022, the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department’s incident report quoted witnesses saying Woods was “talking all sorts of crazy and she ran out the door into the woods,” near her home on Aug. 28 of that year.

Three days later, sheriff’s deputies conducted a wellness check and found only an open door at Woods’ residence and her cat, but no sign of her. Deputies searched the surrounding area and called for her over one of the patrol unit’s PA systems, but there was no response.

Woods (pictured) is described as 5-foot-3, 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. For more information on her disappearance, click here.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Chelsea Woods or any information regarding her, please contact the investigative unit of the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department at (501) 745-2112.
