First Community Bank has been recognized as the Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation by the Arkansas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
The honor will be formally presented at the inaugural Festival of Philanthropy on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024, at the Robinson Center & DoubleTree Hotel in Little Rock.
The Festival of Philanthropy, which combines AFP Arkansas’s 42nd annual National Philanthropy Day (NPD) awards luncheon with a professional development conference, celebrates Arkansas’s philanthropic spirit by highlighting individuals and organizations that have made a significant impact in the state.
This year, First Community Bank has been acknowledged for its ongoing commitment to philanthropy, community support, and partnerships with local nonprofits.
First Community Bank was nominated for this award by the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches, a valued nonprofit partner dedicated to providing a safe, healthy environment for youth in need.
“We are deeply honored to be recognized by the AFP Arkansas Chapter as the Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation,” said Boris Dover, president and chief operating officer of First Community Bank. “This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, who are committed to giving back and making a meaningful impact in our communities. Our partnership with the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches is just one example of how we strive to support and uplift those around us.”
