ARDOT: Highway 37 scheduled to close near Tuckerman beginning Monday

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) has announced that Highway 37 — also known as Elgin Road — is scheduled to close near Tuckerman beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, as work will continue around the clock through Monday, Sept. 23, replacing a bridge.

Weather permitting, crews will close Highway 37 between Highway 17 and Highway 367 to replace the bridge. Highway 37 will remain open to local traffic only.

Signed detours will be in place using Highway 367, Highway 157 (Tucker Road), and Highway 17 (W Main Street).

Traffic will be controlled with barricades, message boards, and signage.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
