A Batesville woman died in a two-vehicle crash in Sharp County on Sunday, leaving six others injured.

Arkansas State Police said Shaundra Johnson, 31, was driving her Toyota north on U.S. 167 just after 5 p.m. when her vehicle crossed the center line and into the path of a Chevrolet driven by Colten Boyd, 34, of West Plains, Mo.

Boyd and five passengers in the Chevrolet were injured, as was a minor passenger in Johnson’s vehicle.

The report said the road was wet from rain at the time of the crash.
