Dustin Joe Westmoreland, 48, of Cave City, died Thursday, September 19, 2024, in Benton. He was born May 7, 1976, in Batesville and raised by Lynn and Cynthia (Marlin) Westmoreland. He was of the Southern Baptist Faith and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, mowing the yard and growing a garden. Dustin was a great cook, especially with the grill. He loved watching wrestling with his son. He also enjoyed NASCAR and watching the Razorbacks.
His pawpaw, Mordecai Marlin, and grandparents Bill and Lillian Westmoreland preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Melanie Westmoreland of the home; one son, Alek Westmoreland of Cave City; one daughter, Eliza Scheffler (Stevie) of Cave City; one brother, Seth Westmoreland of Batesville; his grandmother, Joy Marlin; one granddaughter, Delilah Scheffler who is on her way; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel with Bro—Trent Bradley officiating.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
