Thomas A. “Tommy” Reynolds, Sr. of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the age of 79. He was born May 16, 1945, in Beedeville, Arkansas, the son of Willie Columbus and Mattie Mae (Tarwater) Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds was a farm worker. He enjoyed collecting arts, crafts, and anything made out of brass. He attended the Hickory Ridge Church of Christ. Mr. Reynolds loved working on engines. He adored his family, they were everything to him.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, William Reynolds and Alfred Reynolds; three sisters, Lorine Vance, Stella Reynolds, and Helen Reynolds; and his parents.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife Lorri (Plank) Reynolds; two sons, Willie Reynolds and wife, Eva Ann, of Newport, and Thomas Allen Reynolds, Jr. of Augusta; two daughters, Polly Adams and husband, Dean and Debbie Reynolds Brown and husband, Jonathan Brown; one sister, Arvilla Garrett; six grandchildren, Rubyrose Reynolds, Ashley Reynolds, Mary Reynolds, Columbus Walls, Brian Adams, and Deanna Adams; and a lifetime of friends,
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Eight Mile Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home, on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 12:30 p.m.
