A Searcy County man was killed earlier this week after being hit by debris from a transit truck involved in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 65 North.
According to an Arkansas State Police fatality report, Dylan Reed, 22, of Marshall, was standing in a private driveway when a southbound GMC pickup veered left across the highway and collided with a northbound Ford transit truck. The collision caused the Ford’s rear bumper and roll-up door to detach, striking Reed.
The crash occurred around 2:15 p.m. on Sept. 24. The road was dry, and the weather was clear, the report said.
