The Batesville Kiwanis Club is chartering a Kiwanis AKtion Club and is now seeking supporters and members.
AKtion Club is the only service club for adults with disabilities, with more than 6,430 members worldwide. Club members become competent, capable, caring leaders through the vehicle of service. AKtion Club’s motto is ‘Where development has no disability.’
The first Batesville AKtion Club meeting will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21 at North Heights Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, 200 Warrior Rd., in Batesville. Lunch will be provided.
Lunch is provided.
