David Lee Long, 60, of Mountain View, Arkansas, passed away on October 6th, 2024 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born November 25th, 1963, in Mountain View, Arkansas to Aleck Carl and Dortha Mae (Stewart) Long.
David was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. He attended the Mountain View General Baptist Church. David was an outspoken person and loved to visit with friends. However, spending time with his grandkids was a priority. He also enjoyed hunting, baseball, dancing, beekeeping, and baking. He was loved by many people and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aleck and Dortha Long; and one infant daughter, Megin Long.
Left to cherish his memory are his three children, Jaimee (Casey) Clark of Mountain View, Arkansas, Aleck Long of Mountain View, Arkansas, Elizabeth Long of Oxford, Arkansas; two step-children, Kyra (Cody) Rush of Batesville, Arkansas and Cody Comeau of Batesville, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Kaidynn, Haley, Raelynn, Ethan, Eli, and Emmett. David is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 11th, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, beginning at 10:00 am at the Mountain View Funeral Chapel. Brother Terry Tilley will officiate the service. Interment will take place at the East Richwoods/Case Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mountain View Funeral Service towards the funeral account.
Pallbearers are Pete Stewart, Kat Stewart, Cody Rush, Eddie Neel, Olen Ginn, Terry Stewart.
Honorary Pallbearers are Aleck Long, Ronald Clark, Neal Harness, and Neal Richardson.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Service.
