Mountain View Chevrolet is partnering with Mountain View Elementary to support local teachers, parents, and students as part of the Chevrolet Back to School program. The dealership recently donated $5,000 to Kay Shipman and Mountain View Elementary as part of the program.

The 2024-2025 school year marks the fourth year of Chevrolet’s Back to School program. Established in 2021, the initiative provides funding for parent-teacher associations (and similar organizations) to assist with the purchase of supplies, aid in ongoing projects, and support appreciation efforts for educators in the community.

“We are proud to play a role in helping our local educators and the students that benefit from their hard work,” said Greg Peters, managing partner at Mountain View Chevrolet. “We know how important a good education is and believe it is crucial to support teachers at the local level. We’re very proud to be part of the Chevy Back to School program and look forward to doing what we can to help the community.”

In addition, current employees of a public school, private school, college or university or their sponsored spouse can take advantage of the GM Educator Appreciation program where they can receive a special offer on the purchase or lease of eligible, new Chevrolet vehicles.
