Lorine (Roberts) Church, 88, departed this life on Monday, October 21, 2024, at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born in Harrisburg, Arkansas on January 31, 1936, the daughter of Will and Arzella (Greenhaw) Roberts and they preceded her in death.
Lorine married Mr. Eldron Church on May 14, 1950, and they enjoyed sixty-five years of marriage before his passing on May 1, 2015. She was also preceded by two brothers: Emmitt and Leonard Roberts, and four sisters: Orene Roberts, Pauline Roberts, Irene Roberts, and Ceila Foust.
Lorine was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and watching television (western programs). She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially Haley and Sarah, two granddaughters with whom she enjoyed going places and hanging out.
Lorine is survived by 4 sons: Donald R. Church of Paragould, Elton Church of Cave City, Jerry Wayne Church also of Cave City, and Jeff DeWayne Church of Piemont, Missouri, two daughters: Sheril Kain of Dolphin, Missouri and Amanda Hedge of Harrisburg, several grandchildren, and several great-grands.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 29 at Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home Chapel from 1:00 until Service Time. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 P. M. with Sister Phyllis Traughber conducting the service and the following will serve as Active Pallbearers: Mark Church, Hunter Askue, Gavin Askue, Matt Galloway, Levi Moulder, Bo Martin, and Austyn Easter.
The interment will be in Harrisburg Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
