Nicholas Kyle McCoy, 35, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on October 17, 2024. Born on July 17, 1989, in Searcy, Arkansas, to Mark McCoy and Angie Lock, Nicholas was known for his love of the outdoors and his adventurous spirit. He spent a decade working as a dispatcher for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, a role that aligned with his passion for wildlife and nature.

Nicholas cherished spending time in the wilderness, whether it was hiking, camping, or hunting. His love for the outdoors extended to shooting sports, and he found joy in the tranquility and challenges of nature. He also loved to travel, always seeking new experiences and landscapes to explore. Those who knew Nicholas remember him for his adventurous soul and the deep appreciation he had for the natural world.

Nicholas deeply loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, and grandson. His family and friends will forever remember him for his kind heart, his zest for life, and the joy, laughter, and love he shared with everyone around him.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Leonna McCoy and his great-grandmother, Vivian Henderson.

He left to cherish his memory, his mother, Angie Lock (John) of Tuckerman; his father, Mark McCoy of Bradford; his sister, Morgan King of Searcy; his brother, Tyler Lock of Tuckerman;  his grandparents, Nickey McCoy of Bradford and Roetta Pate (Eric) of Bradford; his aunts and uncles, David McCoy (Mary) of Bradford, Kelly Rutledge (Russ) of Bradford, Lanie Poole (Jason) of Bradford, Robin Dale (Scott) of Heber Springs, Travis O’Connor of Bradford, Tony O’Connor of Bradford, and Heather Smith of Bradford.

Service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Steve Barner officiating.
