Patsy Jane Austin, 87, of Mountain View, Arkansas, passed away on October 23rd, 2024 in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. She was born June 6th, 1937, to Paul and Mildred (Wright) Lytle in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
Patsy loved her Lord and Savior. She went to many churches in her lifetime. She loved her family, church family, and friends. She enjoyed gardening and working in the yard, making it pretty with flowers. She also enjoyed reading, camping, traveling, dancing, and going to church. Our Momma was loved by many and will be greatly missed till the day we see her in our Heavenly home.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mildred Lytle; her loving husband, Luther D. Austin; and one son, Russell Keith Austin.
Left to cherish her memory is her four children, James (Glenda) Austin, Debra Davis, Phillip Austin all of Humphrey, Arkansas, and Stacy (Neal) Harness of Mountain View, Arkansas; one sister, Margret Chapman of Harrisburg, Arkansas; seventeen grandchildren, Bobby, Sondra, Jerry, Gayle, Cindy, Rachel, Justin, Russell, Bubba, Bridgett, Meagan, Josh, Patricia, John, Holly, Tanner, and Chase. She is also survived by thirty-two great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
A visitation will be held Monday, October 28th, 2024 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with a funeral service following, at 11:00 am, at the Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel. Brother Terry Tilley and Brother Tim Clark will officiate the service. Interment will take place at Lexington Cemetery, in Shirley, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are James Herrington, Chase Harness, Joshua Austin Cash, Bobby Austin, Jerry Lantrip, and Don Smith.
Honorary Pallbearers are Neal Harness and Ty Lacey.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Service.
