2024 ELECTION RESULTS UPDATE

Independence County residents will use paper ballots in future elections, according to the results of today’s vote.

The “Hand-Marked, Hand-Counted Paper Ballot Ordinance of 2024” was approved by Independence County voters by a vote of 8,309 to 5,184.

Voters vetoed the Batesville School Millage with a vote of 3,995 against and 2,926 for.

And Karen Beller defeated Danell Hetrick in the race for the Batesville School Board Zone 2 position by a vote of 696 to 361.
