Erin Larhea Gilbert-Gorham, 68, of Batesville, AR, died on Monday, November 11, 2024. Erin was born on May 13, 1956, in West Covina, CA, to the late Alpheus Leon Gilbert and Myra Larhea (Moore) Gilbert. Erin was of Christian faith, and she worshiped the Lord as a member of Harrison Street Church of Christ in Batesville. Erin had a passion for recovery ministry, especially Celebrate Recovery. She enjoyed attending CR meetings at Batesville First Assembly, Compass South, Cave City First Assembly, and Believers Community Church. Erin loved to spend time at the Senior Citizens Center, she enjoyed visiting with people there, dancing, and playing bingo. Erin also loved cats, being around little children, and talking on the phone. She will be dearly missed by everyone who was blessed to know and love her.
Erin is preceded in death by both of her parents; she is survived by her “adopted family”, daughters, Stephanie Hubbard and Angie Taylor (Thomas); granddaughters Victoria Halfacre and Breana Allender; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Williams, Raelynn Williams, Swayze Williams, Khloe Williams, and Ryleigh Jo Halfacre; and numerous other friends and acquaintances who loved her dearly!
Arrangements are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville. Services will be held at Harrison Street Church of Christ on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Steve Smith, will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Josh Ramsey, Chris Stark, Corey Nichols, Josh Salter, and Aaron Owen. Honorary pallbearers include William S. Carey and Alan Clark.
