Jackie Kenneth Cole, 76 of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born in Harrisburg, Arkansas on July 24, 1948, the son of Curtis and Magdalene (Henderson) Cole and they preceded him in death. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Don Cole, one son, Bryan Kenneth Cole, and two daughters: Rachel (Cole) King and Rebecca (Cole) Edwards. Jackie married Edythe Lewis on July 8, 1968, and they have enjoyed 56 years of marriage. Jackie was a member of the #184 Masonic Lodge here in Harrisburg, worked several years at Halstead in Wynne, Arkansas, and served in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Edythe of the home in Harrisburg and one brother, Jerry (Paula) Cole of Harrisburg, five grandchildren, and 9 great-grands. Visitation will be Friday, November 15, 2024, at 12:00 until service time at Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Michael Cooper conducting the service. These men will serve as active pallbearers: Aaron Cole, Austin Cole, Jerry Cole, and Tim Austin. The interment will be in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
