Obituary: Isaac Harold Holley “Big Axle”

Isaac Harold Holley “Big Axle”, of Cord, AR, passed away on November 16, 2024. He was born on March 29th, 1954, in Batesville, AR, to I. T. and Maxine Holley. He drove a truck for forty-plus years. Harold enjoyed spending time with family, going fishing, and camping, and he really enjoyed his lottery. His favorite color was red.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, William Holley “Bill”, Johnny Holley, Genevia Williams, and James Holley.

Survivors include his only son, Brandon Holley “Bud” (Jam-mie) of Cord; grandchildren, McKenzie Smith (Ethan), Raven Smith (Wesley), Jackson Holley (Julianna), Huston Holley, Imajean Holley, Lillie-Gene Holley, Preston Holley, Peyton Holley, Xavier Rommel, Mandalynn Holley, and Lisa Cook; great-grandchildren, Theo Isaac Holley, Kennedy Raby, Kallie Hires, and Sandusky Holley; and one sister, Susan Armstrong “Susie” (John).

There will be a visitation held at Willis Funeral Service Chapel on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 12 PM until 2 PM. The funeral service, officiated by Kayla Dabbs, will begin at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Kyler Cemetery in Southside, AR. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are William Parks, Huston Holley, Jerry Armstrong, Alan Williams, Bobby Armstrong, Seabastian Spradling, Jerry Murser, and Sandman. Honorary pallbearers are Steven Parks, Billy Conley, Jackson Holley, Brandon Holley, and Landen Parks.
