Bearl Dwayne Bennett, 88, of Tuckerman, Arkansas, passed away on November 18, 2024. He was born on July 23, 1936, in Newport, Arkansas, to Marsellus and Lillia Mae (Sullins) Bennett.
Bearl was a lifelong resident of the Tuckerman community and a devoted member of the Tuckerman Church of Christ. A Mason and a proud veteran, he served four years in the United States Air Force, exemplifying dedication and service.
Bearl found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved turkey and deer hunting, frog gigging, and spending time in nature. An avid traveler and reader, he embraced every opportunity to explore the world and expand his knowledge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of 62 years, Delores Bennett, his son Andy Bennett his daughter Kay Bennett, and his siblings: Noal Bennett, Gary Bennett, Ronnie Easter, J.D. Cooper, Dale Luthi, and Harriet Luthi.
Bearl is survived by his loving daughters, Marti Toddy and her husband, Willie, of Tuckerman, and Sherri Bell of Springdale. He also leaves behind his sisters, Edna Earle Cooper, Sylla Easter, and Donna Bennett, all of Newport, as well as Norita Romain of Rochester, New York, and his stepmother, Hazel Bennett.
His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Michael Toddy (Ashley S.), Russell Toddy (Brandi), Bobby Bennett (Corey), Tristy Arnold (Stephen), Alexxia Toddy, Jordyn Toddy, Kaysyn Toddy, Dorian Toddy, Emma Toddy, Logan Toddy, Andrew Stump, Colt Arnold, and Beau Arnold.
Bearl’s life was a testament to faith, family, and a love for the outdoors. He will be remembered for his steadfast character, sense of humor, and the deep connections he formed with those around him. His stories, wisdom, and presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Bearl’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Gary Lawson officiating. The interment will be at Sullins cemetery.
