Katie Norris (above), Ozarka College’s director of public relations and marketing, has received two awards in the “Digital Video Under Two Minutes” category from the Educational Digital Marketing Awards (EDM).
Dr. Josh Wilson, Ozarka’s vice president of advancement, praised Norris’s accomplishments.
“This is a well-deserved recognition and is evidence of the talent Katie brings to the Ozarka marketing role,” said Dr. Wilson. “Her talent for producing quality content is remarkable, and we are very proud of the work Katie is doing.”
The EDM Awards, which recognize excellence in digital marketing for educational institutions, are judged by a national panel of industry specialists, including higher education marketers, advertising professionals, and creative directors. Entries are evaluated on creativity, marketing execution, message impact, technology application, and innovation.
“I’m truly honored to receive these awards on behalf of our college,” Norris said. “Working in a field I’m passionate about is a privilege, and I’m especially grateful for the chance to contribute at Ozarka College. Promoting higher education is a rewarding experience, and I’m thrilled that the videos we created have been recognized.”
The EDM Awards spotlight top achievements in educational websites, digital content, electronic communications, mobile media, and social media, with over 1,000 entries submitted annually by colleges, universities, and secondary schools nationwide.
