Angela Connell has been named senior vice president and communications director for First Community Bank. A Batesville native, Connell is based at the bank’s headquarters in Batesville. She has been with the financial institution since July 2019.
Connell graduated from Batesville High School in 2002 and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Arkansas State University, where she majored in journalism with an emphasis in public relations and minored in interdisciplinary family studies. With nearly 20 years of experience in public relations, Connell has developed expertise in media buying, public relations strategy, copywriting, and speechwriting.
“I’m excited to continue my work in this new capacity,” Connell said. “First Community Bank is dedicated to fostering genuine relationships and supporting our community, and I look forward to furthering these efforts in my expanded role.”
Carrie Price, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, praised Connell’s promotion.

Connell is also an active community member, serving on the board of Family Violence Prevention. She resides in Batesville with her husband, James, and their two children, Jackson and Madi Claire.
