Frankie Durham, 68, of Newport, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024. Born in Newport on August 25, 1956, to Franklyn D. Durham and Nell May (Carpenter) Terry, Frankie spent his life rooted in the community he loved.

A hardworking man, Frankie dedicated his career to construction, building both structures and relationships that stood the test of time. Outside of work, he found joy in visiting the casino, where his love for life and good company was always evident.

Frankie was a devoted father, brother, and grandfather who cherished his family above all else. He was preceded in death by his parents but leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience.

He is survived by his children: sons Joshua Durham and Jason Durham, both of Little Rock, and daughters Krisa Durham, also of Little Rock, and Kelsey Phelan of Fort Smith. Frankie is also remembered by his brother, Charles William Durham of Jacksonport; his grandchildren Jayslynn Durham, Kayleb Durham, Kaylee Durham, and Justice Durham; his great-grandchildren Kaysleigh Hall and Everleigh Durham; and countless friends whose lives he touched.

Frankie’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His life was a testament to hard work, family, and finding joy in the simple pleasures.

Service will be private.
