Lewis (Lew) Christenberry, 78, of Smithville, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024, in Cave City. She was born September 20, 1946, in Longview, WA, to Clarington and Cleo (Tucker) Gilmore. She was retired from White Rodgers and a member of Mt View Missionary Baptist Church. Lewis enjoyed reading and spending time with her great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years, Wayne Christenberry, and two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her daughter Ann Edwardson (Kenneth) of Cave City; two grandchildren, Billy Horton (Amy) of Batesville and April Horton of Cave City; one great-grandson, Elijah Horton; one brother, Merle Gilmore; two sisters, Rose Dorris and Georgia Gilmore; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Vance Penn officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Billy Horton, Michael Mobley, Aaron Mobley, Kenneth Edwardson, Ronald Mobley, and Mark Brightwell.
