Debora Ann Crow, 66, passed away on November 30, 2024 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 17, 1958, in Key West, FL, to the late James Gist and Helen Marie (Wells) Gist. Debora was a Christian and a member of Charlotte Church of Christ. She loved children and was a preschool and kindergarten teacher before becoming a full-time homemaker. She liked to read fiction, play video games, and do puzzles. She also enjoyed shopping on tv and watching crime shows, cartoons, ghost shows, and Scooby Doo. Debora will be greatly missed by all those who love her.
Debora is survived by her husband, Charles (Chuck) Crow; son, Charles William Crow; daughters, Alicia Garrett (Nick) and Lindsey Crow; and sisters, Nancy Caldwell and Beatrice Whisenant (Larry). She is preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a visitation held at Charlotte Church of Christ on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Dean Fugett, will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Alex Crow, Johnnie Austin, Matthew Crow, John Crow, Phil Treat, and Gary Lee Britten. Honorary pallbearers are the Staff at Caring Hands Hospice.
