Mr. Edgar Pennington of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the age of 66. He was born February 6, 1958, in Jackson County, the son of Bentley and Minnie (Veteto) Pennington.
Mr. Pennington worked for Poinsett Rice and Grain for many years as a Rice Dryer. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending his time camping and fishing. Mr. Pennington also enjoyed arrowhead hunting. Mr. Pennington’s pride and joy was his horse, Buck.
Mr. Pennington was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Pennington; two sisters, Janet Sue Pennington and Anna Marie Prokopechuk; and his parents.
He is survived by his two sons, Josh Pennington and Tonya Hutchison of Weiner and Robert Mannon of Newport; five grandchildren, Case Pennington, Ryker Pennington, Kayli O’Neal, Samuel O’Neal, and Dylan Sweeney; his son-in-law, Matthew O’Neal; and his life partner of thirty-five years, Sandra Mannon.
