Cynthia Ann Hastings, 67, of Cave City passed away Monday, December 2, 2024, in Jonesboro. She was born May 28, 1957, in Newport to Donald and Ruby (Redd) Tyner. She was an industrial specialist and later a clinical speech specialist at the Arkansas Department of Health. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, talking about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, feeding the ducks and watching cardinals.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Linda Jean Tyner and Becky Darlene Tyner.

Survivors include her husband of twenty years, Timothy Hastings of the home; three sons, Alan Tharp (Lisa) of Quitman, Jeremy Tharp (Jennifer) of Bald Knob, Mark White (Regena) of Newark; two daughters, Lisa Crumley (Michael) of Cave City and Carla McComas (Bobby) also of Cave City; one brother, Don Tyner of Jacksonville, FL; twelve grandchildren, Blaine Tharp, Josh Tharp, Noah Tharp, Ashlyn Moore, Jeremy Tharp II, Jayden Hoofman, Rowan White, Joshlyn Nail, Colton Crumley, Joshua McComas, Austin McComas, and Ella McComas; six great-grandchildren, Lincoln Tharp, Axley Tharp, Jensen Tharp, Joslyn Tharp, Oakland Canard, Rhyce Moore and one great-granddaughter on the way, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church of Cave City with Cale McGillvray officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery.

Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Jerry White, Jason Shaw, Roger Pratt, Dewayne Harris, Bob Crabtree, and Jarrett Hutchison.

Honorary pallbearers will be her twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the White River Medical Center ICU and the NEA Baptist ICU for their compassionate care during this time.
