Hayes Kibe, a ninth-grader at Batesville High School Charter, celebrated his fourth consecutive win over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend at the 89th Annual World’s Championship Duck Calling Contest in Stuttgart.

Kibe has been scoring first-place wins in his division at the world championship since 2021.

The duck-calling contest dates back to Nov. 24, 1936, when Stuttgart, known as the “Duck Hunting Capital of the World,” hosted the first National Duck Calling Contest.
