Milli Marie Lewis, 70, of Batesville, died on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at White River Medical Center of natural causes being comforted by her husband, James Lewis.
Mrs. Lewis was born February 25, 1954, in Orlando, FL., and has lived in Batesville for 27 years. She was a lifetime member of Spring River Seventh Day Adventist in Hardy, Arkansas. She was an accountant for Batesville Water and Utility for many years.
Milli and James were married on June 1, 1997. She loved reading, putting puzzles together with her husband, and watching sci-fi and rom-coms and playing piano.
She was preceded in death by her Parents Alonzo Cruze and Beulah Cruze; brother, Jack Cruze, brother Bari Cruze, sister Bedi Graves, and her best friend, Karen Burns.
Survivors include her husband James Lewis; sister Cathy (John) Hart, brother Max (Trisha) Cruze, sister-in-law Linda Cruze; her children Heather Schulman, Chuck McKinney, Chris Cruze, Chris (April) Lewis, Shane Lewis; her fur baby, Pepper the Kitty Cat; grandson, Logan Nagy, and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Graveside services will be held Friday, December 13, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Egner Cemetery with Lauri DeWitt officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
