Brenda Faye Smith, 70, of Newport, Arkansas, peacefully departed this life on December 11, 2024. She was born on January 8, 1954, in Bradford, Arkansas, to Ardell and Jurine (Bray) Middleton.
Brenda was a devoted mother, cherished sister, loving grandmother, and a dear friend to many. Known for her warm heart and adventurous spirit, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether immersed in a puzzle book, enjoying conversing with friends, playing games on her computer, or soaking in the beauty of the outdoors while camping, Brenda always embraced life with enthusiasm.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, George Lawrence, with whom she shared 52 wonderful years of marriage.
Brenda leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were her greatest pride and joy. She will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the deep love she had for her family.
Brenda will forever be in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Vanwinkle and husband, Roger of Newark, Jurine Chabrison of Newport, Melissa Brewer and husband Bryan of Batesville, Christa Chapman of Newport, Mandy Mills and her husband Lucas of Texas and her brother, Doyle Middleton and wife Doris of Bradford; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Josh Vanwinkle, Courtney Anselmi, Brittany Hooper (Myles), Maddison Bates, Joshua Bates, Teagan McGill, Aaron Lawrence, Tamaria Corbit, Dwight Cabanas, Michael Cabanas, Keith Kunkel (Destiny), Christopher Stephens, Emma Vanwinkle, Gracelynn Vanwinkle, Paislie Vanwinkle, Arizona Lawrence, Penelope Lawrence, Sebastian Lawrence, Luna Kunkel, Daniel Mills and Isaac Mills.
Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jerome Jolly officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 until service time. Interment at Union Grove Cemetery in Pleasant Plains.
