Doris Jean Mynatt, 88, of Sidney passed away on December 14, 2024, in Batesville. She was born June 10, 193,6 in Mt. Pleasant to Boyd and Mildred (Qualls) Garner. She was a homemaker and director of Sidney Senior Citizens. She enjoyed reading, cooking, puzzles, sewing, and watching Dancing with the Stars.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean Mynatt; one brother, Wayne Garner; one son-in-law, George Carter.
Survivors include three sons, Billy Mynatt (Vickie), Benny Mynatt, and Danny Mynatt; one daughter, Patricia Carter, one brother, Larry Garner, ten grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery located in Sidney.
Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Cody Mynatt, Brian Carter, Bricen Carter, Lance Mynatt, Travis Bradley, and Brandon Hoggard.
Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Mynatt, Curtis Mynatt, Phill Garner, Carl Garner, Dan Mitchell, and Randy Marshall.
