Dorothy A. (Tate) Parnell, 86, departed this life Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Three Rivers Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Marked Tree, Arkansas. She was born in Tyronza, Arkansas on June 5, 193,8 the daughter of William Fred and Bessie Elizabeth (Downy) Tate and they have preceded her in death. She was also preceded by one grandson. Dorothy was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by one son, one daughter, several grandchildren, great-grands, and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 17, 202,4 at Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home at 2:00 P. M. and interment will be in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro. The family will serve as active pallbearers. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
